31 March 2008:
Fronde Anywhere’s leading two-factor authentication product, TwoSecure™, has been nominated for a 2008 Consensus Software Award. In order to be eligible for a Consensus Software Award, the product must be Australian or New Zealand designed. The judging was based upon three main criteria of Innovation, Performance and Potential.
TwoSecure™ provides an easy to use two factor authentication application that generates one time passwords (OTPs) via an application that is downloaded to, and stored on the mobile phone.
Caroline Dewe, CEO of Fronde Anywhere comments that “we see this technology having the potential to change the face of the identity management industry. With banking regulatory bodies around the world starting to mandate that banks implement some form of multi factor authentication in order to protect customer’s identities and funds. TwoSecure™ is ideally placed to meet a very strong and growing market need."
Entrants will be presenting their solutions to the judging panel on 11 April in Sydney.
