Fronde Anywhere signs mobile payment deal in Asia

Fronde Anywhere has recently signed a deal to deliver an innovative new mobile payment solution into Asia. The solution is based on Fronde Anywhere’s BankAnywhere platform for mobile banking. It will enable customers to purchase consumer goods from a range of merchants via the mobile phone. The payments are done with direct and real time interfaces integrated with multiple payment issuers including: bank issuers, credit card issuers, and mobile network operator or other institutions’ pre-paid wallets.

The deal was secured by LogicaCMG, Fronde Anywhere’s strategic partner in the region. The project will be delivered jointly by LogicaCMG and Fronde Anywhere and is expected to launch in April 2008.
